Study Guide
ATX- Advanced Technology Extended. Been around since 1995. It was created by Intel. It is one of the more common motherboard form factors
MicroATX- Is the ATX motherboard but smaller and less expansion packs. Similar mounting points as the ATX.
MiniATX- similar to the ATX. There are less expansion slots compared to the ATX because of its size.
RAM-Random Access Memory
PCI:Peripheral Component Interconnect
PCI-X: PCI eXtended
